# brandmarkdown

> Turn your website into brand guidelines for ChatGPT and Claude: one brand file, DESIGN.md, with your colors, fonts and voice. Free while in beta.

brandmarkdown turns a brand into plain-text files that AI tools follow. You either paste your own website (colors, fonts, logo and
photos are read from it) or start a new brand: answer six questions, or start from a brand you admire as a benchmark (its colors and
type are a starting point; its logo, name and photos are not copied). Missing parts can be filled from the brand's colors and an industry base
("Fill the gaps"), always as suggestions the user accepts. You refine everything on one board, then export:

- DESIGN.md, the brand file: colors with roles, fonts and type scale, patterns, voice and rules, one document for people and for AI tools
- For ChatGPT and Claude: BRAND-SHORT.md (project instructions or the start of a chat), BRAND-CHATGPT.md (custom instructions, under 1,500 characters), POST-OFFER-EMAIL.md (prompts for a post, an offer and an email), the brand as a Claude skill in one .zip (upload it in Customize > Skills, do not unzip it), SECTIONS.md (prompts for website sections) and PROMPTS.md (a starting prompt for image models)
- README.md: which file goes where, step by step
- For developers: CLAUDE.md, AGENTS.md, Cursor rules, the Claude skill folder, tokens.css and tokens.json, llms.txt for your website
- On the board, a Brand page to share with a freelancer or agency (not part of the download)

Free while in beta: the full pack, no account, no card. Brands are stored on the user's device.
